2009 Jason Portz Nick came into his own his senior season as he led the O'Fallon Panthers back to the state tournament and a 3rd place finish in Class 4A. Tindall shattered many records at OTHS including the single season and career homerun records held by former 3 time all-state Panther Mike Bowen. Nick broke the record in less games played and nearly 20 less at-bats. Other accomplishments for Tindall was receiving the St. Louis Post Dispatch Player of the Year for 2009 and the 2009 Louisville Slugger All-American First Team. To top off his senior year, Nick was drafted by the Minnesota Twins in the 17th round of the 2009 MLB amateur draft. He went on to sign with the Twins shortly after the Panthers state tournament becoming the first player in OTHS history to sign a professional contract out of high school.
